WHAT:
With many of Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 cases occurring in long-term-care facilities, the House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee will conduct a virtual informational meeting to determine who is surveying conditions at the facilities and the protocols they are using to inspect them.
WHO:
House Aging and Older Adult Services Committee Chairman Gary W. Day (R-Lehigh/Berks); other members of the committee; Marcus Schabacker, president and CEO of ECRI (Emergency Care Research Institute); Catherine Pusey, manager of patient safety and quality consulting with ECRI; Val Palmieri, COO for Abramson Center for Jewish Life; and a representative from the Pennsylvania Department of Health has been invited to testify.
